Sarah Louise Baxla Bosworth, 90, of Albany, went to be in her heavenly home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Friday, June 20th, 2014 at Parker Health and Rehabilitation Center in Parker City. She was born in Bryant, Indiana on October 20th, 1923 to Jesse R. and Blanche K. (Wilt) Manning.
Louise dedicated her life to sharing her love with family and friends.
Survivors include daughter Karen Myers (Van) of Selma; their children Lori Hoots (Randy) and Lisa Riggs (Robert). Daughter, Rebecca Odle (Jack) of Anderson, their children Rob Maple (Jerilyn), Angie Colip (Steve), Andy Odle (Amy), Shane Maple (Mikki). Son Dennis Baxla (Sandi) of Fremont, their children, Ryan Baxla, Jason Baxla, Justin Baxla (Krystal); twenty-one great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Naomi Mann, Wanda Pyle (Bill), Jean Smith, and Nadean MacWhinney; and a brother, Bill Manning.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin "Tib" Bosworth; brothers, Merritt, Robert, and Junior Manning; sisters, Eileen McCreery, Peggy Sims, Maxine Murphy; and twin sister, Mary Evon Manning; granddaughter Christina Baxla; and Louise''s children''s father, Carrol Baxla.
Funeral Services for Sarah Louise will be held Tuesday, June 24th , 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Elder Dan Irvin of the DeSoto United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, June 23rd, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the DeSoto United Methodist Church, with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
