Sharon Cougill Bainter Holley, of Muncie, passed away August 7, 2011 to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born May 28, 1936 to Roger Keith and Opal Vada (Gillam) Cougill in Huntsville,(Randolph Co.) IN. Sharon grew up in Modoc, IN and attended Modoc Schools.
She married Thomas Sidney Bainter before moving to Muncie. Sharon was a homemaker, wife and mother for many years, and eventually married Robert (Bob) Holley. He is left to cherish her memory along with her; daughter, Shonda Bainter (companion Jan Boram); son, Tony Bainter; brother, Charles Duane Cougill (wife Christy); sisters, Marilyn Mathews (husband Ernest- deceased), Carol Saylor (husband Ray); grandchildren, Coby Chadwick-Bainter., and Jacob Bainter, Joseph Taylor; great grandson, Brayden Chadwick- Bainter; step daughter, Kristi Holley; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, IN 47303 with service to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana Organ Procurement Org
