Sharon Ann Chilcote,83, of Muncie, passed away at 1:50 pm, on January 14, 2026, at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born in Muncie, Indiana, on November 20, 1942, to Samuel and Sarah (Frazee) DeHaven.  She married Michael B. Chilcote, who survives.

She graduated from Albany High School and Amber's Beauty College.

She is survived by her husband, Michael B. Chilcote; children, Amanda (Tony) Bedwell,  Scott Chilcote, and Shawn (Sheila) Chilcote; sister, Shireen (Tom) Johnson; grandchildren, Matthew (Allison), Hayley, Cory, Emily, Brandon (Lydia), Sam (Ashley) And Brody; great-grandchildren, Lilah, Margo, and Elanor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Sarah DeHaven; and sister, Sally (Walter) Wolverton.

A service celebrating Sharon's life will begin at 1:00 pm, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 IN-3, Muncie, Indiana 47303.

Corey Chilcote will be conducting the service.

Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Muncie.
