Sharon Lea Hensley, 69,of Muncie, IN passed away Friday April 18, 2008 at Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 26, 1939 in New Castle, IN the daughter of Kenneth Stout, and Katherine (Fisher) Stout. On April 24, 1976 she married David E. Hensley at the First Baptist Church of New Castle.
Sharon was a member of the ladies of the Elks and the Moose, Her favorite things to do were bowling and golf. Sharon loved her family and loved spending time with them.
Surviving relatives include her husband; David E. Hensley of Muncie; four daughters; Jill Young (husband Paul), of Muncie, Barb Turner (husband Rick), of Yorktown, Margaret Hensley of Farmland, and Shari Potter (husband John) of Sweetser, IN. Brother; James Stout (wife Connie), of Goshen, IN, sister-in-law; Ruby Ford, of Redkey, IN. Five nieces; Missy Trimble, and Wendy Bernth of Goshen, IN Dawn Kincaid, of New Castle, IN. Sharon Stout, of Indianapolis, IN and Karen Stout, of Noblesville IN. Seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Bob Stout and one sister Judith Ann Stout an infant.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday April 21, 2008 at the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN Pastor Paul Vise will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery Muncie, IN. Visitation will be on Sunday April 20, 2008 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
