Sharon Sue Wolfe Presley, age 70, resident of rural New Castle, IN. passed away Saturday at Henry County Hospital.
She was born November 20, 1937 in Decatur, IN. a daughter of Charles Harold and Mary Irene Hanger Wolfe. She had resided in Henry County most of her life, and attended Decatur, IN. schools. She was a homemaker, and along with her late husband Ernest Presley, enjoyed working with horses. She was a member of the Racking Horse Association. She loved nature, the outdoors, and most of all, sharing time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by: one son Rodney M. Presley of rural New Castle, four grandchildren: Rodney M. Presley II of New Castle, Jason S. Presley of New Castle, Gregory A. Jones of New Castle, Susan L. Jones of New Castle, a daughter-in-law Karen Presley of New Castle, her father Charles Harold Wolfe of rural New Castle, one brother Jim Chaney of New Castle, three sisters Judy Stephens of Muncie, Joyce John of California, Betty Jones of Tenn., also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by: her husband Ernest Sam Presley in 2005, her mother Mary Irene Wolfe in 1984, one brother Bob Wolfe and a sister Pat Jones.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Macer-Hall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Macer-Hall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN.
