Sheri Etta Arthur, a resilient spirit and beloved member of the Muncie community, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2024, in Muncie, Indiana, at the age of 68. Born on October 15, 1955, in Muncie, Sheri was the cherished daughter of Norval Arthur and Jeanne Arthur (Rowe).
Sheri adored her mother, Jeanne, and their bond was a source of strength and joy throughout her life. She held a deep love for music, especially gospel, which brought her solace and inspiration. Sheri's passion for music was a reflection of her vibrant spirit and love for life.
Sheri is survived by her mother, Jeanne Arthur; brother, Matthew Arthur; daughter, Sherry Frost (husband, Tim); sister-in-law, Barb Arthur (husband, Tony); and several nieces and nephews.
Sheri is preceded in passing by her father, Norval Arthur; and her brother, Neal Arthur.
Garden View Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Garden View Funeral Home. Calling hours will be from 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM. The service will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Josh Arthur officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
