Shirley J. Noble, 77, of Muncie, IN went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday January 5, 2008 at her residence in Muncie, IN. She was born on November 16, 1930 in Cambridge, OH the daughter of Jerry and Eva (Dunlap) Vance. She graduated from Eaton High School. She was married to George Noble who preceded her in death. She had previously been married to Scott Webb, whom she had four of her children with.
Shirley was a member of the Kings Chapel Church in Gaston. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed camping, cooking, and fishing. In her later years, she enjoyed visiting the Alpha Center. She was retired from Friendly Hearth Nursing Home where she was a dietary supervisor.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Jay Noble (wife: Megan) of Indianapolis, IN; Eric Webb (wife: Lynn) of Eaton, IN; three daughters, Debbie Keller (husband: Jack) of Muncie; Nancy Goodnight of Muncie; Cheryl Wright (Joe Aigner) of Albany, IN; two step-sons, Phillip Noble (wife: Helen) of Middletown, IN; Michael Noble of Iowa; three step-daughters, Judith Hall (husband: Leon) of New Castle, IN; Verna Terry (husband: Larry) of Yorktown, IN; Connie Swingley of Yorktown, IN; two brothers, Jerry Vance (wife: Joyce) of Eaton, IN; Bill Vance (wife: Lita) of Ohio; two sisters, Pat Brown (husband: Duane) of Claypool, IN; Robin Dillinger of Muncie, IN; eight grandchildren, Rob Ray (Julia) of Muncie; Kristina Bright of Muncie; Jenny Cox of Muncie; Wendy Cummings (husband: Andrew) of Muncie; Joe Cox (wife: Lisa) of Muncie; Caleb Aigner of Albany, IN; Katelynn Webb of Eaton, IN; Richelle Mansfield of Eaton, IN; 14 great-grandchildren; several step-grand children, step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a special care giver Jill Roysden.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday January 10, 2008 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Tim Johnson will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alpha Center in Muncie in memory of Shirley Noble. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
