Stan G. Wyrick, 73, joined the Lord Saturday, March 20, 2021 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. He was born on October 17, 1947 in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Chester and Thelma (Poore) Wyrick.

Stan graduated from DeSoto High School in 1966. He went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree at Ball State University and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University. He was an attorney in Muncie for forty years, establishing his own practice in 1986. During his career, Stan served the Delaware County Court system as Master Commissioner, Family Support Commissioner, and Probate Commissioner, as well as serving as special judge in many cases. He also served as a felony public defender for many years. In 2013, he received the Martindale-Hubbell BV Distinguished Rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.

In his youth, Stan was an avid jogger, even completing the New York Marathon. He also enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and basketball, always rooting for the Pacers. He loved music, movies, and especially reading. You could often find him antiquing or at Hoosier Park, betting the ponies.

Stan is survived by his sons, Brad Wyrick and Mark Wyrick, both of Muncie; sister, Barbara Craig (Charles); fiancee, Diana Albertson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Jean Brann (Richard); and niece, Beth Anne Craig.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with memorial services immediately following at 3:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home.
