Stanley Moore, 89, passed away on January 4, 2019. He was born September 30, 1929, in Columbia, KY, to the late Gilliam and Nellie (Sneed) Moore.

Stanley worked for and retired from Marsh Supermarkets Warehouse for over 20 years. He was married to Clara Sneed for over 50 years before her passing. He re-married and has been with Marie Rose Allen for 17 years.

Stanley was a member of True Life Baptist Church as well as The Avondale Sympathy Club. He and Marie could be found enjoying fishing.

Stanley is survived by his wife of 17 years, Marie Moore; children: Stanley Moore, Jr. (Sandy), Danny Moore (friend, Ruby Eplin), and Linda McClain (Jim); step-children: Janice Fullhart and Ronnie Allen (Janet); sister, Pauline Brock (Arvis); brother, Bruce Moore (Peggy); nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Clara Moore; son, Gary Moore; and sister, Helen Sneed.

Per the request of the Moore family, funeral services will be held privately.
