Stephen G. Thomas, 67, passed away early Monday morning, May 29, 2017, at his residence. He was born April 29, 1950 in Elwood IN at Mercy Hospital, 3rd of 11 children born to Charles E. and Carolyn Rose (McElfresh) Thomas.
Stephan lived most of his life in Blackford County but graduated from Pennville High School, Jay County, in 1968. He worked as a machine operator for Tyson for 17 years and retired in Oct. 2016. Steve was artistic, loving and loved to paint and draw. He enjoyed woodworking and doing stainless glass work too. He will be deeply missed by his many family and friends, nieces, nephews and his dog Mitzie.
Funeral services will be held at the Garden View Funeral Home on Friday June 02, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of service Friday. Burial will follow in The Gardens of Memory Cemetery, next door.
