Steven A. Hough's Obituary
Steven A. Hough, 60, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at his home in Montpelier, Indiana.
Steve was born March 31, 1956 in Muncie, Indiana to Kenneth Neil and Margaret E. (Nelson) Hough. He attended Cowan High School. He was a Chief in the United States Navy where he served as an electrical engineer on the USS Saratoga, USS Coral Sea, and USS Orion. He worked as an electrician for the IBEW Local 855. Steve enjoyed computers and electronics, fishing, and music.
Steve is survived by his father, Kenneth Neil Hough; four siblings, Margaret Elaine Burch (husband T.J.) of Carmel, Linda D. Spence of St. Paul, MN, Michael N. Hough (wife Debbie) of Roanoke, and Lelia Greer (husband Joseph) of Muncie; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate Steve''s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3 in Muncie, IN. Pastor Michael Greer will officiate. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 and also one hour prior to the funeral service Wednesday at Garden View Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Muncie AMVETS post 12, 7621 N. State Road 3, Muncie, IN 47303 or the American Legion, 418 N. Walnut St, Muncie, IN 47305.
