Tamara J. Galbraith, 58, formerly of Muncie, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at her home in Maineville, Ohio.

Tamara was born August 22, 1957 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of, Donald F. and Carol Joanne (McKinley) Walker. She graduated from Muncie North Side High School and was also a Ball State University graduate. She started her career at American States Insurance in Indianapolis before becoming a homemaker and raising her family. She returned to work at PNC Bank and later retired from First Financial Bank in Cincinnati. Tamara was an avid walker. She enjoyed her dogs and her granddogs and also enjoyed keeping her home spic-n-span.

Tamara is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Louis Galbraith; their two children, Louie Galbraith (wife Valerie) of Washington D.C. and Kelli Cooney (husband Bob) of Cincinnati; her father, Donald Walker of Muncie; sister, Shelley Ahlersmeyer of Indianapolis; mother-in-law, Beverly Galbraith of Muncie; sister-in-law, Kay Walker; three brothers-in-law, Mike, Tim, and Matt Galbraith; and several nieces and nephews.

Tamara was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Walker; and a brother, Daniel Walker.

A funeral service to celebrate Tamara''s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3 in Muncie. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Friday at Garden View Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to A.R.F. (Animal Rescue Fund) 1209 W. Riggin Rd. in Muncie, IN 47303.
