Terry Reed Vance, 60, of Anderson, died Sunday afternoon, July 17th, 2016 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born July 18th, 1955 in New Castle and was the son of the late Lewis Leroy & Anna Lee (Reed) Vance.
Terry was a loving man that never knew a stranger. He loved his family and friends greatly, especially his two grandchildren. Terry loved to go fishing and traveling to Tennessee. Anyone that knew Terry knew he had a personality that was one of a kind. He worked for several years at Borg Warner and for Carter Express for 14 years as a fork truck operator.
Terry is survived by his two daughters, Elizabeth Lee Wallace (Ryan) of Kokomo and Valerie Gail Myers (Chris) of Alexandria; three grandchildren Gabrielle Marlett of Daleville , Collin Myers of Alexandria, and Alley Wallace of Muncie; a brother Steve Vance of Yorktown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Judy.
Funeral Services for Terry will be held Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Huddleson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.
