Thelma Edith Capper (Rich) age 92, died peacefuly at home, at 2053 W 1000 S Keystone, Indiana 46759, on October 12, 2022, affter battling with congestive heart failure.

Thelma was born October 5, 1930, in Roawbud, South Dakota, a daguther of Edith Rich (Smith) and Edward Rich. Her 7 siblings are Keith Rich, (Rapid City, South Dakota), /wallace Rich, (New Castle, Wyoming), are still living. The others are gone are Lone Rich, Corrine Loafer, Lois McCloskey, Arley Rich and Marletta Pacheco (Rapid City, South Dakkota).

She married Richard Capper in 1956, which is no longer withus, passed on 04/14/2007. She was a mother to 6 children Raymond Hoving, Kathy Quillen (Hoving), Barbara Ticas (Capper), Ron Capper, Lexie Capper, and Riche Capper.

She was an amazing Grandma of 14 grandkids, Annie Quillen, Hagan Quillen,Sean Quillen, Chad Hoving, Ritchie Picotte, Victoria Seats, Terry Manes, Michelle Manes, Angie Manes, Carman Capper, Carla Capper, Tabitha Capper, Gage Capper, and Warren Dickson. She also had 21 great grandchildren.

Thelma was a member of the Roosebud Sioux Tribe and Indian Reservation in South Dakota (Sicangu Oyate). She was highly creative, she enjoyed makin all kinds of Indian stuff like blankets, dream catchers, dolls, and many more stuff. You could catch her on her piano playing Amazing Grace. If she could she would go to the Casino everyday she loved her slots, She also loved Betty Boop, Boop-oop-a-Doop. She aslo was deeply religious and studied her Bible. She loved God and was an incredibly good person. Everyone loved her she was the sweetest lady/

She will be missed by many and always in our Hearts.

Calling will be Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Gardenen View Funeral Home at 10501 N. St. Rd. 3, Muncie, Indiana 47303. Service will be at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Josh Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens Of Memory Cemetery.
