Obituary

Thelma L. Steinhall, 80, passed away at 5:10 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2008 at her home.
The daughter of Ernest and Hallie (King) Bowling, she was born October 8, 1927 in St. Charles, Virginia. She married Louis Steinhall Jr. on October 4, 1947 in Muncie, and had resided in Eaton since 1948. A homemaker, she was a member of the Avondale Sympathy Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Vickie (Tommy) Capps, Albany; a brother, Charles Bowling, Muncie; a sister, Geraldine Zimmerman, Eaton; two grandchildren, Jackie (Stephanie) Haffner Jr., Hartford City, Steven (Julie) Haffner, Dunkirk; a step-granddaughter, Amy Marie Capps (companion, Steve Angel), Logansport; five great-grandchildren, Cierra, Ariel, Isaac, and Isiah Haffner and Tina Crum; a close friend, Jackie L. Haffner, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Jr. who died March 31, 2002.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Ron Forsythe presiding.
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, Muncie.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, April 14 and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
