Thelma L. Warner, age 91, died at 7:50 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Blackford Community Hospital in Hartford City, IN.
She was born on July 12, 1916 the daughter of Fabian Vallad and Margaret (Lennon) Vallad. Both her parents precede her in death. Thelma married Carl E. Warner on July 1, 1950 in South Bend, Ind. He precedes her in death on March 18, 1991. Thelma was a homemaker, wife and mother that loved her family dearly.
She was also the former co-owner of Warner T.V. Service in Hartford City and was a member of the Elks Auxiliary. Thelma loved flowers, gardening and she enjoyed collecting bears.
Thelma will be sadly missed by her daughters, Tina D. (husband, Bruce D.) Murrell of Hartford City, Naedean Cook of Hartford City, Penny Berrier of Las Vegas; sons, Nick (wife, Linda) Berrier of Hartford City, Michael K. (wife, Becky) Warner of Matthews; 18 grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Nedra L. Coats of Hartford City, Maxine "Mickey" Johnson of Hartford City; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Thelma will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008 and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at Keplinger Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Hall of Grace United Methodist Church officiating.
Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN
