Thomas R. Chappelle, age 78, passed away at his home on Monday, September 11th, 2023.  He was born on November 3rd, 1944 in Muncie, IN to parents Thomas M. Chappelle and Rosalie Chappelle.

Thomas was a truck driver for 40 years and retired in 2010.  He'd drive from coast to coast, working for Stoops Express and Air Road Express.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Karen Chappelle; son Thomas (Melanie) Curtis of Parker City, IN; daughters Amy (Bill) Clevenger of Muncie, IN, Katy (David) Dunigan of Evansville, IN, Leigh (Scott) Koger of Muncie, IN, and Julie (Brandon Riester) Coon of Anderson, IN; brother Charles (Sara) Chappelle of Tennessee; and 8 grandchildren.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas M. Chappelle and Rosalie Chappelle; two brothers, Mike and William; and his sister, Nancy See.

Services for Thomas will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Monday, September 18th, 2023.  Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jim Ballenger officiating.
