YORKTOWN - Thressa Conwell Finley, 83 went to be with her Lord and Savior December 20th, 2010 at The Woodlands in Muncie.
Thressa was born in Blackford County September, 15, 1927 to her parents; John and Mildred (Brushwiller) Stoll. Graduated from Roll High School, Blackford County and the Indiana Business College.
She was employed as secretary at Franks Foundry, Indiana Gas Company, K J Brown Company and retired from Sherry Labs.
She was a member of the Yorktown United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, The N and N Club and the Yorktown Women's Club.
She is survived by son, Rickie Allen Conwell, wife-Jane of Vincennes; daughters, Cheryl Lynn Conwell of Indianapolis and Connie Jo Conwell of Tucson, AZ; step daughter, Marilyn Desper of Yorktown; step daughter in law, Janet Finley of Yorktown; step sister in law, Joanne Stoll of Hartford City; grandson, Ross Owen Conwell of Terre Haute and granddaughter, Ashley Hart, husband-Ryan of LaPorte, IN and great granddaughter, Keianah Hart of LaPorte, IN several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Leon Conwell, second husband, Eugene Finley, her parents, two brothers, Robert Stoll and John Stoll, a sister, Pauline Stoll and a stepson, Larry Finley.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m. at the Yorktown United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Loft. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory cemetery, north of Muncie.
Friends may call Tuesday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to services.
