GAITHERSBURG, MD - Tiffanie Marie Cates, 23, passed away on April 8, 2011.
Tiffanie graduated from Gaitersburg High School, attended Montgomery College two years, Maryland University 1 ½ years, Argosy University one year.
She was employed at Verizon Wireless. She was an Intern for the President Barack Obama Campaign Committee.
She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Kennieth Cates of Gaithersburg , Maryland; mother, Janice Reed of Fishers, IN; three brothers, Kennieth Cates Jr. of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Jeremie Cates and Jordan Cates both of Fishers, IN; maternal grandmother, Earscine Reed; paternal grandmother, Betty Robertson (Olin), and one nephew, Elijah Westworth. Special friends Chimira and Shawn Holyfield, Toria Felder and Kim Johnson as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Lewis Reed; paternal grandfather, Robert Cates and an uncle, Louis Guiden.
Funeral Service will be Monday, April 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Calling hours will be Monday April 18, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor W.J. Jackson will be officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
