Timothy James Marienau, 64, of Muncie died late Tuesday evening at Albany Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 1st, 1950 in Waterloo, IA and was the son of the late Donald Ray & Dorothy Mae (Claassen) Marienau.
Timothy was a combat veteran that proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a very compassionate man, which had a drive to help and serve others. Timothy was active in the family business at Memorial Investments.
Timothy is survived by two brothers, Dr. David Marienau (Patricia) of Evansville and Scott Marienau (Nome) of Ridgeville; a sister Felicia Renbarger (Bradley) of Muncie; two nieces Samantha Duncan (Kristopher) of Albany and Toni Scott of Hagerstown; three very close friends, Ruby Goodman of Muncie, and Judy and Dorothy Oldfield of Muncie.
Funeral Services for Timothy will be held Saturday, March 21st, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors being conducted by the United States Army and the Delaware County Honor Guard will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the AMVETS of Royerton, with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
