Tresa June Rhoades, 86 of Eaton passed away Monday morning, October 10, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 15th, 1930 in Muncie and is the daughter of the late Elmer & Edna (Bright) Eppard.
Tresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and sister. She attended Union Chapel Church. Tresa enjoyed bowling, crocheting, going to the casino, and working in the yard, her favorite thing was watching and cheering her grandkids in their sports and activities.
Tresa is survived by her three daughters, Sandy Penrod (Patrick) of Eaton, Randy Myers (Herb) of Eaton, and Becky Donovan (Tom) of Muncie; seven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren; three brothers James Eppard (Connie) of Eaton, Elmer Eppard (Rosie) of CA, and Rudy Eppard (Elaine) of Muncie; five sisters Doris Bailey of Eaton, Janice Bailey (Chet) of Eaton, Carolyn Dawalt (Wayne) of Trafalgar , Wanda Eppard of Muncie, and Judy Oliver of Matthews; one sister in-law, and two brother-in-law''s. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert James Rhoades, two sisters, three brothers, three sisters-in-law, and four brothers-in-law.
Funeral Services for Tresa will be held Friday, October 14th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Glenn Greiner officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
