Twilla Lee "Tillie" Clevenger, 80, of Albany, died early Monday morning, July 8th, 2013 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born July 20th, 1932 in Portland, IN, and was the daughter of the late Ennis "Scoot" & Edith (Jones) Maxwell.
Tillie enjoyed attending church at Redkey Faith Ministries. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband Kenneth Clevenger. Tillie was a very caring and loving person, whom loved her family greatly.
Tillie is survived by her two sons, Kenneth E. Clevenger (Stacey) of Selma, and Steven L. Clevenger (Norma) of Albany; three grandchildren, Tyanne Vazquez (Luis) of Redkey, Trent L. Clevenger of Vacaville, CA, and Andrea Navarro (Lorenzo) of Albany; eleven great-grandchildren, Kayla Clevenger of Indianapolis, Deric Clevenger of Oklahoma City, OK, Sebastian Clevenger of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Maurice Clevenger of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Devin Conatser of Redkey, Antonio Vazquez of Redkey, Zedrian Vazquez of Redkey, Adam Navarro of Albany, Alex Navarro of Albany, Andrew Navarro of Albany, and Austin Navarro of Albany; two sisters Donna Olvey (Jim) of Redkey, and Clara Young (Bill) of Anderson; a brother Harold "Bud" Maxwell of Tipton; several nieces and nephews also survive . In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years Kenneth E. Clevenger Sr. on October 9th , 2002; a sister Beverly "Sue" Maxwell, and a brother Richard "Butch" Maxwell.
Funeral Service for Tillie will be held Friday, July 12th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Craig Cotherman of Redkey Faith Ministries officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call Thursday, July 11th, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
