Vernon "Earl" Hall, 89, of Muncie, passed away on August 29, 2025, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Earl was born in Huntsville, Kentucky, to the late Earl and Mami Hall. He was well known in the community as the owner of Earl's 66 Gas Station. Earl had a lifelong love for cars, was a dedicated hard worker, and enjoyed spending time outdoors caring for his yard. Above all, he cherished his grandson Cory, who he loved like a son.

He is survived by his grandson, Cory; sister, Loitta Willard; brother, Barry Hall; nieces, Jennifer and Missy; nephew, Troy; and numerous friends.

Earl was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet Hall; his parents; daughter, Debra Kortman; sisters, Jerlene Winfrey and Julia Peay; and brother, Joel Hall.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana.
