Vicki L. (Hansard) Williams, age 74 passed away at Ball Hospital on December 26th, of cardiac arrest.

She was born September 23rd, 1947 in Muncie; daughter of Elmer and Bettie Hansard. Vicki married Douglas Williams October 2nd, 1965; they were married 47 years at the time of Douglas's death in 2013.

She was a 1965 graduate of Muncie Southside High School. She worked for First Merchants Bank for several years. She also worked as a secretary for Muncie Community Schools for 25 years. She loved to read and crochet, all types of projects for her family and friends.

She was a woman of great faith and when able attached Avondale Methodist Church.

Vicki is survived by her daughter Julie Lynn Chalfant husband (Jon) of Muncie, Jay Douglas Williams wife (Cathy) of Santa Clarita, CA, three brothers Rick Hansard wife (Linda) of Richmond, VA, Mike Hansard wife (Mechele) of Fort Wayne and Randy Hansard wife (Vi) of Wapakoneta, OH. Four grandchildren; Kinley Williams (Eric Peterson) of Muncie, Brantley Williams (Savannah) of Columbus, OH, Alexis Williams (Mike MacLean) of Atlanta, GA, Parker Williams of Santa Clarita, CA.

One great grandchild, Zion Douglas Hensley of Muncie.

Special friends; Ann Kelly, Nancy Stoner, and Terri Jester.

She was proceeded in death by her loving and precious husband, Douglas who passed in 2013, her parents, Elmer and Bettie Hansard, and her beloved in-laws Ed and Glenna Williams. Pastor Josh Arthur will be officiating on January 3rd, 2022 at noon; held at Garden View Funeral Home in Muncie, IN. Final disposition will be held at Gardens of Memory Cemetery January 3rd, 2022. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Avondale United Methodist Church.
