Obituary

Vine B. Miller, 84, of Muncie, IN passed away Monday December 17, 2007 at his residence. Vine was born on May 20, 1923 in Manchester, Tennessee the son of George Miller and Alice Carr. On March 11, 1981 Vine married Loretta (Fletcher) Miller who survives.
Vine was a member of the Union Missionary Baptist Church in Muncie. Vine enjoyed hunting, cutting wood, he loved to make things out of wood and ceramics. Vine also loved all types of music and loved to fix things for himself and others. He retired from General Motors after 44 years of service.
Surviving relatives include his wife Loretta Miller of Muncie; three daughters; Sharon Boyatt of Indianapolis, IN; La-gretta Norvell of Noblesville, IN and Kizzie Ann Edwards of Detroit, MI. sons, Ronnie Clark (wife Ruby) of OK. David Clark (wife Brenda) of Antioch, TN, Willie Clark of Muncie; sister Ruby Parker of Christiana, TN, three grandchildren, Sandy Boyatt; Michelle Boyatt and William Boyatt. One great-grandchild Dustin Stroust. Other relatives including neice Jackie Parker of Morrison; TN, Lonnie Motley close friend, nephew, Flavy L. Miller (Janie) of Walling, TN; nephew Lenton Miller (Ossie) of Walling, TN.
Vine is preceded in death by his parents George W. Miller and Mary Alice Carr-Miller; sisters; Charley McBride, Bertha Hickerson, Bula Wood, Alma Miller, Nellie Mae Miller; brothers; Chester W. Miller and Clark Miller
Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday December 22, 2007 at the Union Missionary Baptists Church , 1103 N. Macedonia in Muncie. Rev. Willie J. Jackson Sr. will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday December 22, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Memorial contributions can be made to Union Missionary Baptist Church in Muncie.
