Virgil Jenias Jackson, 99, of Muncie, died Tuesday afternoon, March 20, 2018 at Yorktown Manor. He was born September 14, 1918 in Wilkinson, IN and was the son of the late Arthur & Amy (Albeay) Jackson.

Virgil retired from Delco Remy after 30 years of dedicated service. He proudly served his country in the United States Army where he served has a medic. Virgil loved fixing and repairing cars and being outside.

Virgil is survived by his son Gary Jackson (Jane) of Fairmount; granddaughter Tina Jackson (Kevin Shaw) of Poland, IN; grandson Scott Jackson (Jenny) of Alexandria; two great-grandsons Kaden Shaw of Poland and Noah Jackson of Alexandria; a great-granddaughter Annette Jackson of Alexandria; a sister Leora Keith of New Castle and a brother Loren Jackson of New Castle. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Lois Jean Jackson (Sayre) and his second wife Mildred Jackson (Marshall); one sister and two brothers also preceded him in death.
