Virginia Marie Heiner, 90, of Muncie, died early Monday morning, August 13th, 2012 at The Woodlands in Muncie. She was born August 30th, 1921 in Galesburg, KS and was the daughter of the late George LeRoy & Juanita Marie (Burse) Dunivant. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed shopping and going out to eat with family and friends. She was a loyal companion to her late husband Henry V. Heiner, whom she married, January 24th, 1942. Virginia was a member of the Moose and Elk''s Lodges and Gethsemane Methodist Church. She is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Ron) Pease and Barbara Heiner, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Jeanne (Chip) Alexander of Muncie; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Edwards, Eric Pease, Brandon Pease, David Heltz, Brian Heltz, Elizabeth Heltz, Adam Alexander, Ryan Alexander, and Lindsey Alexander; eight great-grandchildren, Shannon Pease, Stephani Pease, Abhain Rose Pease, Rowan Pease, Gabrielle Edwards, Dane Edwards, Karina Rose Heltz, and Elliot Heltz; special friend Sharon Spoerner; a sister Mary Corley of South Bend. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry V Heiner in 1994; two brothers Robert and Roland; two sisters Elaine and Judith. Funeral Services for Virginia will be held, Thursday, August 16th , 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Vickie Perkins of Gethsemane United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
