Vivian T. Stevens, 88, of Selma, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, following an extended illness.

Vivian was born August 23, 1924 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Adlai and Etta (Blaizer) Jones. She was a 1943 graduate of Muncie Central High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a huge animal lover who always took in strays.

Vivian is survived by two grandsons, Michael David Stevens (wife Jessica) and Michael Cull (wife Jill) both of Selma; five great-grandchildren, Daxton and Dawson Stevens, Ethan Cull, and Jordan and Blake Collins; and a sister-in-law, Leona Foster of Richmond.

Vivian was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Henry A. Stevens; a daughter-in-law, Myrna Stevens; and four siblings, Stu, Dallas, Stan, and Dixie Jones.

A funeral service to celebrate Vivian''s life will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Garden View Funeral Home.
