Vola Eva Fitts, 93 of Winchester, died Thursday afternoon October 25, 2018 at Signature Healthcare of Muncie. She was born February 28, 1925 in Muncie and was the daughter of the late Charles Willis & Susie (Resler) Ketcham.

Vola enjoyed knitting, going out to dinner with family and friends and being around water in her earlier years. She had previously owned and operated the A Gathering of Flowers floral shop in Winchester for many years. Vola was an active member of the Randolph Friends Church.

Vola is survived by her grandson Jonnathan Edward Smith (Patty) of Denver, CO and a great-granddaughter Hazel Judy Smith of Denver, CO; a brother John Ketcham (Phyllis) of Florida and a niece Linda Rai of Muncie. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her only daughter Judy Smith; her husband William Fitts; three brothers Elwood, Carl and Harold Ketcham; a sister Ruth Harness also preceded her in death.
