Wade Hampton Brown, 57, of Muncie died Wednesday evening January 13th, 2016. He was born September 4th, 1958 in Muncie and was the son of the late Joseph Harold & Virginia Ellen (Haun) Brown.
Wade retired from the Muncie Municipal Airport after 20 plus years of dedicated service. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a simple person who enjoyed life. Wade was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed airplanes and talking about the weather.
Wade is survived by his two children Ashton Wade Brown (Leigh) of Indianapolis and Summer Christine Brown Johnson (Malcolm) of Muncie; five grandchildren Matthew Nichols, Braxton Johnson, Brett Johnson all of Muncie and Anna Jimenez and Lucas Brown all of Indianapolis; two brothers Harold E. Brown (Paulette) of Muncie and Kenneth G. Brown (Carolyn) of Selma; four sisters Linda S. Brown of Wawaka, IN , Betty J. Morganthaler (Michael) of Wawaka, IN, Leca L. Arnold (Jerry) of Farmington, MI and Kathy J. Everetts of Kimmell, IN; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death a grandson Mason Nichols; a brother William "Bill" Brown and a sister Mary Lou Brown.
Funeral Services for Wade will be held Tuesday, January 19th, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Randall Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
