Walter Grant, 77, passed away at his residence. His passing was unexcepted. He was born on September 27, 1944 in Muncie, Indiana. He was the son of the late Tolson and Hazel "Fryman" Grant.

He was a laborer for Metaldyne/Brodericks for several years. He was a Veteran of the Army National Guard.. He liked swimming, golfing, working in his yard, he was a family man and liked gatherings with his family. Country music, CCR and old rock and roll.

He is survived by his wife Betty "Laytham" Grant, 3 (three) daughters: Brenda Brannon of Muncie, IN, Susan Hammond of Winchester and Deborah Daughtery (Fiancé  Austin Spain) of Muncie, IN. 8 (eight) Grandchildren including Kaylee Garce Daughtery and Grant Michael Daughtery; 1 (one) brothers: Phillip Grant of Muncie, 5(five) sisters: Phyllis Butler of Matthews, IN, Carolyn Protillo of North Dakota, Martha Albeving Of Washington State, Becky Brady Of Arizona and Nancy Logan of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 (two) brothers; Lefty Grant and Raymond Grant, 2(two) sisters Linda Huber and Dorothy Writtenhouse.

Calling will be on Thursday July 14, 2022 at Garden View Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at 10501 N. St. Rd. 3, Muncie, IN 47303. Service will be at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Dill officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.
