Walter Gerald Line, 76, of Farmers Branch, Texas and formerly of Muncie, died late Monday evening, July 29th, 2013 following an extended illness, at the home of his loving sister and care giver Margie Guffey of Selma. He was born December 20th, 1936 in Muncie and was the son of the late Gerald O. Line & Vivian (Abshire) Mohler.
Walter retired from the construction industry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Walter is survived by a sister Margie Guffey of Selma, two brothers Clifford (Dutch) Line of Indianapolis and Victor G. Mohler of Farmland; two step-daughters Brenda (Ronnie) Dean of Farmers Branch, TX and Deborah (Earl) Evans of Paris, IL; three step-sons Elmer Jr. (Tania) Banet of Farmers Branch, TX, Mark (Margaret) Banet of Paris, IL, and Jeremiah Line of Indianapolis; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive . In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 years, Doris Line, a sister Shirley Matthews.
A Private Memorial Service will be held to honor Walter''s Life.
