Warren G. Bruner, 86, of Muncie, IN died Sunday November 25, 2007 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born on March 31, 1921 in Paoli, IN the son of Edward and Maude (Anderson) Bruner. He married Elsie Jane (Freeman) Bruner who preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Wilmore Memorial Church in Muncie. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. He retired from Chevy of Muncie on May 1, 1986 after 35 years of service. He enjoyed carpentry work.
Surviving relatives include one son, Kent Lee Bruner of Ft. Wayne, IN; one brother, Vance Bruner (wife: Martha) of Paoli, IN; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Bruner of West Palm Beach, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and nine brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday November 29, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. The Delaware County Honor Guard will honor him with military rites. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
