KOKOMO - Waveline Whitesell, 84, a former resident of Redkey, Winchester and Muncie passed away on March 2, 2011 in Kokomo, Indiana.
Waveline was born on March 4, 1926 in Winchester, Indiana the daughter of Aaron and Orpha (Kelley) Stouder.
She graduated from Ridgeville High School in 1943. She was a O.R. Tech at Ball Memorial Hospital and worked in the Hospital Auxiliary of Jay Co. Hospital for many years. Including being a past president of the Auxiliary of Jay Co. Hospital. She was a member of the Gamma Nu Sorority and the Apperson Assembly of God in Kokomo and the Muncie Assembly of God. She married Glenn M. Whitsell Jr. on September 26, 1943. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 25, 2009.
Survivors include Three Sons, Glenn Martin Whitesell 3rd (wife, Patricia), Kokomo, Indiana, Steven Lee Whitesell, Indianapolis, Indiana, David A. Whitesell, Crownpoint, Indiana; twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. at the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Homes, Portland Chapel.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Kevin Holt will officiate with burial to follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery, North of Muncie, Indiana
Memorial may be directed towards the Apperson Assembly of God in Kokomo or the Muncie Assembly of God. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
