Obituary

Weston Lee "Bud" Hornback, 70, of Muncie, IN, passed away May 4, 2009 at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 13, 1938 in Joplin, MO to the late Lehman C. and Dovie Marie (Buck) Hornback.
Weston graduated from Muncie Central High School. He is also an Army veteran. Weston married Sarah S. Read in Muncie, IN on June 11, 1977. Weston had a career in the heating and cooling industry throughout Muncie. He was a lodge member with Muncie''s Eagle Lodge #231 as well as the Moose Lodge. Weston was an avid golfer and also enjoyed watching Tiger Woods play. Weston also enjoyed his Western themed books.
Surviving relatives include his loving wife, Sarah, of 31 years; step-son Doug Crawley (wife: Donna) of Rockport, TX; daughters Debra McLaughlin of Lafayette, IN; and Diane Lawrence (husband: Steve) of Selma, IN; step-daughter Jamie Jones (husband: Dave) of Anderson, IN; sister Carlene Delaney (husband: Jim) of Muncie, IN; sister''s-in-law Peggy McCartney of Muncie, IN; Ann Booher of Cassville, MO; Virginia Faulkner of Tampa, FL; and Geraldine Read of Anderson, IN; nieces Patricia L. Medecke (husband: Steve) of Muncie, IN; and Rose Stewart (husband: Sid) of Winchester, IN; six grandchildren, Heather Oelslager (husband: Darrin) of Muncie, IN; Donnie McLaughlin (wife: Selena) of GA; Christopher McLaughlin of NM; Michael Lawrence of Selma, IN; Shane Crawley of Rensselaer, IN; and Lily Jones of Anderson, IN; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan Oelslager and Peyton Oelslager.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, H. Walter Felton, and step-son, David Crawley.
Friends and family are welcome to attend graveside memorial services at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Road 3, Muncie, IN 47303. Rev.
