William S. Davis, Jr., 75, of Muncie, IN died Wednesday March 21, 2012 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. He was born on July 24, 1936 in Muncie, IN the son of William S. Davis, Sr. and Hazel (Privett) Shaw. On June 24, 1975 in Dunkirk, IN he married Anna R. Davis. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, watching horse races, bowling, and being outdoors. Surviving relatives include two sons and two daughters, J. Anthony Loden (Donna) of Portland, IN; David Loden of Ozone, TN; Jeanie Brown (Ron) of Muncie, IN; Teresa Arbuckle of Portland, IN; one brother, Bob Davis (Vanessa) of Muncie, IN; two sisters, Jackie Gasaway (Tom) of Henderson, TX; Donna Patterson (Floyd) of Muncie, IN; one brother-in-law, George Rosenbaum of Muncie, IN; seven grandchildren, Alyssa Vollmer, John Yadon, Brooke Yadon-Spens, Adam Arbuckle, Faith Arbuckle, Stacy McCowan, Chris Loden; eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Joan Rosenbaum, step-mother, Virginia Davis, step-father, Don Shaw. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday March 23, 2012 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN.
