William D. Jennings, 74, of Muncie, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at IU Health Ball memorial Hospital. He was born in Pall Mall, TN to the late Harrison and Thursann (Harrison) Jennings.
He was employed by Economy Tile Co. and he also worked on automobiles. He is survived by his son, Jerry L. Jennings, of Noblesville, IN; daughter, Loretta S. Barley, of Selma, IN; sister, Velma Jennings, of Muncie; five grandchildren; love of eight years, Betty Daniel; step-daughter,Marvenna Stahl.
He was preceded in death by his parents;three sisters, Glennis Whittenburg, Gaddis Raines, Veleta Stinson; five brothersGernal, Ozio, Ray, Fred and Gilliam Jennings.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, IN 47303 with Rev. Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Vistation will be Wednesday, August 10 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
