William Ransom Devers Jr., 75, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025. He was born on December 29, 1949, in Muncie to William and Barbara (Whitacre) Devers.
William was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Linda Devers, with whom he shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life full of love, adventure, and cherished memories.
William had a passion for collecting rocks and transforming them into beautiful jewelry and unique trinkets. His creativity and craftsmanship brought joy to many. He also had a deep appreciation for nature, finding peace among the trees and flowers. One of his greatest joys was traveling, especially going on cruises, where he could explore new places and experience the beauty of the world. A dedicated Jehovah's Witness, William found strength and comfort in his faith, sharing his beliefs and living his life in accordance with his convictions.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Devers; sons, William Devers III (Pam), and Brian Devers (Cyndi); and grandchildren, Abbi Gonzales (Alec), Liam, Killian, and Tallula.
Bill is preceded in passing by his parents, William and Barbara Devers; and brothers, Danny Devers and Jack Devers.
Family and friends may call at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4405 N Walnut St, Muncie IN 47303, on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Garden View Funeral Home; online condolences can be made at www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com. Burial will be held at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
