Wilma Leigh Carney passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, 28 September at the age of 99. Had she survived another 3 weeks, she would have celebrated her 100th birthday. She was one of ten children born to Charlie and Emma Keenan in the small town of New Hebron, Mississippi and a long time member of the congregation at Riverside Methodist Church in Muncie, where she served as a greeter. She also served The Lord at Christian Ministries and was a member of the YWCA Chorus and an usher at Emens Auditorium. She retired from the main post office in Muncie. She is survived by her 3 sons, 11 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 2:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home.
