Wilma Lee Fisher, 85 of Muncie, died Saturday afternoon, June 3, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 4, 1932 in Stearns, KY and was the daughter of the late Russell, Sr. & Opal (Rich) Davis.
Wilma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Wilma enjoyed cooking, especially making pies. She was a member of Avondale United Methodist Church.
Wilma is survived by her husband of 66 years William Franklin Fisher, Sr. of Muncie; a son William Franklin Fisher, Jr. (Vicki) of Muncie; three daughters Vicki L. Hartley (Robert) of Muncie, Cindie Cranmer of Anderson, and Melodie Lee of Muncie; nine grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; three brothers Russel Davis, Jr. (Viola) of Muncie, Thomas "Tom" Davis (Sue) of Muncie, and Larry Davis (Peggy) of Eaton; a sister Betty Sills of Summerville, SC; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandsons Philip Dennie and Jimmy Cranmer; a son-in-law Gary Cranmer; two sisters Garnet "Pat" Zachary and Mary Rhodes; a brother Kenneth Davis.
Funeral Services for Wilma will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Rev. Jonah Stultz officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Premier Hospice with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
