Zenobia Eleanor Thomas, 91, of Albany, IN died Saturday October 20, 2007 at Albany Health Care in Albany. She was born on June 15, 1915 in Redkey, IN the daughter of Arlie and Julia (Horner) Flesher. On September 4, 1937 she married Leonard Thomas who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Ball State University with a bachelors degree. She taught 23 years in Jay County and Randolph County Schools. She retired in 1977.
Surviving relatives include one son, Jerrold Nolan Thomas of Muncie, IN; two nephews, Robert E. King of Georgetown, TX; Charles T. King of South Charleston, OH; one niece, Sherrie Ricketts of Atascadero, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday October 24, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Wednesday before the service from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
